To reach this location you will want to go down the main parkway. This is going to make it easier for you to get to the location. You will just have to go down the main parkway in town and you will pass the aquarium on the main strip. You will want to stay on it like you are heading to the park and then you will see the location on your right hand side of the road. All you have to do is make a right hand turn into the parking lot and you will find it rather easily. As you can see in the video the place is not that far from all the big attractions in Gatlinburg.

I know that I just mentioned the spread out location. Well, that is because the hotel is along the lines of the older style with individual buildings with doors opening to the outside. This means that you do have a lot of parking lot, but if you are located far away from the checkin area, then you either have to drive to the room or have a long walk.
Now, what else I really like and you probably will as well is the appearance of the buildings. Unlike some of the hotels that I have stayed in before that the appearance of the outer opening hotels looks dated, this place does not have that look. In fact, the creek stone type of facade definitely adds to the appearance of the place and can actually make you feel more at home.

The property features are often considered some of the entire property amenities. These vary from property to property and really depend on the price of the hotel you are staying in Gatlinburg. Still, the LeConte View Motor Lodge does have quite a few amenities you are going to enjoy.
The parking lot is one of the main things for you to enjoy. I know that Gatlinburg has a premium on parking and a lot of hotels do have free parking, but not all the hotels are located in a place that makes it easy to reach the city proper. So the free parking in a location that is closer to the downtown and attractions in Gatlinburg is a major plus.

The pool is another great feature to enjoy. The pools are definitely a nice aspect of the property because they provide you with plenty of comfort after hiking in the mountains. However, at the same time the pool is seasonal outdoor. If you are at LeConte View Motor Lodge in the winter, though, the location does have an indoor pool. It is important to note that the indoor pool area does have a lot of windows and in my experience from swimming in pools with windows it does get chilly.
What else is better than a pool? Well, I have to admit I love a hot tub! That is what this property has well. I hate to admit it, but I am getting older and that means my muscles get sore faster. So the hot tub is a great way to relax and unwind after a day of hiking in the mountains, but also feels great on my muscles.

A balcony is definitely one of those places that gives you a chance to retreat and take in your thoughts. So what is great about this place is the private balconies. These make it easier for you to enjoy the view, but also is a great way to unwind from the mountains or a great place to do some people watching in the evening.
With the way some of the restaurants serve food you may not have room for your dessert or have plenty of leftovers. The good news is the rooms at LeConte View Motor Lodge does have refrigerators in the rooms. To make it even better if your food is cold and has to be heated up the rooms all have a microwave as well.

Now, the first review that we are bringing in actually comes from Scott C who actually left a negative review on TripAdvisor. “Hotel is going under renovations, but the rooms they have are outdated and dirty.” Well, this updating and renovation does happen to all properties and even in our own homes. So you have to take that into account. At the same time, though, you need to consider the fact that the hotel is addressing the older rooms and updating them with the renovations.

Cherokee Grill is a great place to eat a nice dinner at or even a quick lunch. The restaurant is only about 3 minutes walk from the hotel, which makes it easier for you to enjoy your meal. However, what else is great is the chance to bring back leftovers right away instead of having to walk or take the trolley back.
Breakfast is a great meal, but you need to make sure you find a great place to eat at close by to get the most. Well, one of our top rated breakfast restaurants in Gatlinburg is not a far walk from the hotel. That restaurant is Crocketts Breakfast Camp which is only a 4 minute walk from the hotel.
Filling your sweet tooth is definitely possible in Gatlinburg. However, at this hotel one place is really close and that is Chocolate Monkey. The Chocolate Monkey will give you a quick walk to reach it at only 6 minutes, but it will definitely provide you with a chance to burn off some of the calories you get from eating all the chocolate.

Escape games have gained a lot of popularity lately. At this motel you actually have 2 different places that have this type of event within quick walking distance. You have Gatlin’s Escape Games which is only a 5 minute walk, but you also have The Captured – A Live Escape Experience which is only 3 minutes away.
Hollywood Star Cars Museum is another great attraction to check out. Now, this is heading more towards town, but it will definitely give you a chance to explore more of what the town has to offer. The best part is after you cross the street it is not that far of a walk.
Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Is another attraction that is just a short walk from the hotel. Granted, it is a little bit longer and across the street, it is not that far of a walk. Plus it is not like you are walking back up the hill to get to the attraction. So that will make it easier for you to enjoy the place and not get winded by walking uphill.
