Traveling to a place that is right next to so much beauty can be exciting. However, you will find that their is a huge challenge because a lot of people have realized that the millions of visitors streaming through Gatlinburg each year need a place to stay at. With that being the case, they have literally built almost a hundred hotels in the small city of Gatlinburg alone. With that being the case, we are going to try and review each of the hotels that are available to stay at in Gatlinburg. This includes the little, but great Marshall’s Creek Rest motel, which a lot of people may overlook because of where it is located or because it does not have the major chain name attached to it.

Location Of Marshall’s Creek Rest Motel

This is one of those locations that is off of the main road as well. So this can make it a little bit more of a challenge for you to locate the hotel, but it also means that you will have some more seclusion than if you were on the main drag of the street and this helps you get some privacy. The address for the Marshall’s Creek Rest Motel is:

To reach this location you will need to take the main parkway into Gatlinburg and go right past River Road. The next intersection you come to is going to be Cherokee Orchard Road. You need to turn left onto Cherokee Orchard road. You will then go up the road and pass 2 streets on the left before coming to a 3rd street that shoots off to the left. That third road is Baskins Creek Road, which will lead to you seeing the Marshall’s Creek Rest Motel on the left hand side.

Exterior Features

• This is a location that has an outside pool that is seasonal, but you need to realize this is only seasonal and I cannot find any mention if the pool is heated or not. If it is heated it will extend the season out, but I cannot find mention if it is heated or not.
• Sitting is something that you may want to do when you are traveling to a location like Gatlinburg. While I cannot find mention of balconies, this is a location that seems to not have any balconies at all. It does have a nice seating area that is going to make it easier for you to sit down and enjoy some of the views.
• Creeks are a nice feature when you are in the mountains. With Gatlinburg their are quite a few creeks that come through the region. With that being the case, you need to realize their are several creeks you can sit by and this makes it easier for you to enjoy the town even more.

Amenities Offered On Site

• Internet and WiFi is available from what we have read in the public areas. We have not found out if this is different yet or not, but we are exploring this. However, any Internet service is better than nothing at all.
• The pool and hot tub are a couple of major amenities that you are going to enjoy when you are looking at the location. However, these are outdoors and if you are at the location in the winter months it will be very hard to use these.
• Parking is expensive when you are in Gatlinburg, but you will find this is a location that offers you the free parking and if you do not feel like walking into town, it is said that their is a trolley stop that is at the hotel.

Features Found In The Room

• Heat can be a major issue in the middle of summer. However, what you need to realize is this is a location that provides you with air conditioning in the middle of summer in the room and this can make it a lot cooler for you to enjoy the trip.
• Refrigerators are important when you see how big the meals are that you have at the restaurants in town. This is when you should know more about the fact this is a location that will provide you with a refrigerator in your room and this can allow you to store your food when you are traveling to this beautiful location.
