This means to get to Atrium Pancakes from the aquarium, which is one of the most noticeable locations in Gatlinburg, you will want to head up towards the Mountain Mall. When you are going in this direction you will see the road is going to Y off with 321 going up the hill towards the Sleep Inn. You will continue going down 441 as if you are going to Pigeon Forge. However, you will not want to go to far on this road because you will quickly notice the restaurant is going to be on your right hand side.

Type Of Menu

The type of menu, from the one that I found online is more of an American style of breakfast with the obvious focus being on pancakes. However, the restaurant is very famous and been featured in magazines for one of its favorite items on the menu. The one favorite item on the menu that was featured in the magazines is the Baked Apple Pancake. While this may not seem like it would be that appetizing, it is easily one of the best features at this restaurant.

As far as the lunch menu, the food is quite heavy on the soups and sandwiches, which is great if you plan on doing some trail hiking later on in the afternoon. However, you will also find the menu does have some great entrees which is going to make it easier for you to select the food that you want to have and know it is going to provide you with a great meal.

Feature Item To Try

We talked about one of the feature items to try when you are at Atrium Pancakes in the paragraph above. That would be the Baked Apple Pancake that was featured in Taste of Home magazine. It is important to note that you will need to allow 15 minutes for this item to bake as it is made fresh and this is something that you will really want to have to eat. Without this, you could try some of the other pancakes that are on the menu, but you need to realize that these were not featured in a magazine.

As you can see from these two reviews, this is a location that has good food and a chance to skip the long wait. I know that this is one reason why I tend not to eat at any of the pancake houses when I am in Gatlinburg because the wait is outrageously long. However, you can only take so much of the Donut Friar before you start to get tired of the location.

Overall, we are going to cover this location as one that has a great featured item, good enough that it made it to a well known magazine. However, with that being said this is a location that is off of the beaten path for most people and unless you want to drive a little bit it is a long walk for some people who are up for breakfast and just want to get to somewhere to eat quickly. I would have to say this is a great place to eat at and one that I cannot wait to try out the next time I am in Gatlinburg.
