What I Like About The Attraction
The tasting room is hands down one of the best things about this winery. I have to admit, I am one of those who are very picky when I am getting wine. Ask my husband it takes me forever to find a wine that I like when I am in the wineries. However, when you are doing a tasting here like we mentioned in the features, you just have to describe what you like to the attendants and they will help you find the perfect wine. In most cases, they are able to match you up perfectly with the wine you will want to try right away. Now, the key thing that you will want to know is if you get Jacob or Brittany as your helper in the tasting room it will be one of the best tastings you have ever had before.
When you are at a winery you will find the grapes and everything else is completely sourced locally. This will make it easier for you to have a great trip and know you are actually not only supporting a business that is in Gatlinburg, but also helping to keep multigenerational farmers in Eastern Tennessee open for business as they are the people who are supplying the majority of the grapes to the winery, which will definitely give the wine a unique taste compared to what you could be used to getting from the California wines.
What I Did Not Care For
While, I do not like to say anything negative, especially about a place with nice wines, this is a place that can become very busy at times. I hate to admit this, but when the place does get busy, which is happening more and more because it is growing in popularity. The location does get really busy the wine-tasting masters do have trouble keeping up in the tasting room, but outside of that the place is usually very easy to keep up with and this makes it easier for you to have a great time.

Well, what can I say other than this is a place that has some of the best wines in the area, but it is a place that has some great wine tours that will take you through the process of making wines as well. What is even better the wines that are in the fermentation tanks in front of you are the ones you will be enjoying in the tasting rooms, granted a little bit more aged. Overall, this is a great Gatlinburg attraction and one you will enjoy immensely, but it is also a great attraction to enjoy as well. No matter what, you will like the fact the Sugarland Cellars Winery is very close to the entrance of the Great Smoky Mountains.
