Traveling to Gatlinburg is easily one of the most exciting things you can do. The issue that you often have is the fact that you are going to need to figure out where to stay. Which is one of the reasons why I decided to launch this website. I know that a lot of the hotels that are in the city proper are nice and would work great. However, I know that this is going to be quite a bit more of a challenge because their are so many. With that being the case, we decided that we are going to cover the Riverhouse Motor Lodge in this review. Once you read this review, you can start to determine if this is going to be one of the best places for you to stay at or if you are going to need to select a different one of the many Gatlinburg hotels that are present in the town.

The address is one of the key points when you are trying to locate a hotel. This is very true when you arel ooking at a hotel like the Riverhouse Motor Lodge, which is in Gatlinburg, which according to Tripadvisor has over 80 hotels in the town. This is actually one of the easiest to locate hotels in the fact that it is off of one of the main roads in the middle of town. When you are at the intersection of River Road and the Parkway, you will want to turn right onto River Road. You will stay on this road and the Riverhouse will be on the left hand side when you pass the Hilton Garden Inn.

Exterior Features Of Riverhouse Motor Lodge
When you first pull up to a hotel, you will want to know how it looks to see if it is going to meet your needs or not. However, you will also want to know about some of the features of the location to guarantee that it is going to suit your needs or not. Without this information, you are going to have some problems in getting the best location or not.
- Balconies are a great thing to have because it makes it easier for you to enjoy the beauty of the area around you. When you look at this, you will quickly realize it is going to be easy for you to get the relaxation that you need, but also be able to enjoy the river that the balconies overlook.
- Outdoor swimming pools is going to be a nice added feature during the summer months, but you need to realize this is seasonal only as swimming when it is below freezing outside in an outdoor pool would not be advisable.
- Fishing is not something you would really think about with the hotels, but if you are in Gatlinburg city you can fish for free and with the stream running by the hotel you can easily walk outside of the room and fish.

Amenities Of The Riverhouse Motor Lodge
- The outdoor swimming pool, that we mentioned before is easily one of the best amenities that you will find on the property. I know that this is seasonal, but it is going to be a great feature that you can enjoy in the summer months. One year, I was in Gatlinburg well before the summer months, probably middle of May and in the mountains it was snowing, but down in town the temperature was pushing 90.
- In room continental breakfast is something else you will like to have as well. Normally, when you think about the these types of breakfast you know that you have to go down to the lobby or breakfast area and get the food. However, this hotel goes one step further and brings the food to you.

Room Features Of The Riverhouse Motor Lodge
This is easily one of the more important aspects for you to consider and that is how comfortable the room is going to be for you. This is why we are including the room features tab as well as the rest of the sections that we have. Once you know about these features it will be easier for you to know if you are going to have a great time if you are stuck in the hotel or not.
- Some of the rooms are going to have the in room Jacuzzi style tubs that everyone seems to love when they are on vacation.
- Depending on where you stay at in the Riverhouse and the time of year, you could end up getting the chance to enjoy the fire place that is present in some of the rooms. This is definitely a nice feature when you consider the winter weather because of the mountains can either lead to snow, rain, ice, or a 70 degree day all at the same time!
- Sometimes, if you eat at any of the restaurants, you will find that it is going to be nearly impossible for you to eat all of the food and this means leftovers. What is nice is each of the rooms has an extra sink outside of the bathroom to wash your hands, but you will see the rooms also have a refrigerator and microwave that is going to make it easier for you to store the food.
