Gatlinburg is one of those cities that you are going to want to bring the entire family to, but when you are traveling you will often ask what is the best place to bring my kids to and with Gatlinburg hotels that are present it is no different of a question. The answer is actually going to be easier for you to find at times because Gatlinburg is such a kid-friendly location. However, this brings up the next big challenge and that is figuring out which one of the Gatlinburg hotels you will want to stay in when you are traveling with your kids. I know this is a challenge you need to overcome to guarantee your entire family has a great vacation. Since this is the cases, I have decided it was time to rank the 5 best kid friendly Gatlinburg hotels to make it easier for you to pick out the best hotel to book for your entire family vacation.

How Did I Narrow Down My List

Well, I have to admit Gatlinburg has so many hotels that it was very difficult to find the five best kid friendly Gatlinburg hotels. When I first started to do this article, I found that it was very difficult to find just five hotels. So I have to say, this definitely made it quite a challenge and then once I narrowed it down, it was even harder for me to narrow down the list. This is how I finally narrowed down my list and I hope you enjoy the list as much as I did. • Pools or water park type of attraction that is inside of the hotel is one of the main factors that I used to narrow down my list. I know that for my kids they love having a chance to get into a heated pool and enjoy swimming in the water. So, a pool definitely played a factor in the rankings that I have put forth here.
• Location of the hotel in relation to the attractions in towns that most of the kids that I know would enjoy is something else that I really looked at as well. Not only that, I looked at the location because I know that if your kids are anything like mine, they will want to get out and see the things right away instead of waiting for a trolley ride, car ride, or for you to find a parking space.
• Finally, I started to look at what other people have said about the hotels. While this is definitely something that I did not really think about as being a huge factor, I did find it was quite surprising seeing what other people have said about the hotel and this makes it easier for you to have a great time because I also weighed in the factors of what everyone else had to say about the location to.

1. Park Vista By DoubleTree

I have to say, the Park Vista used to be towards the bottom of my list for the hotels that I would want to take a family to. However, the property was bought out by Hilton in the past and this really helped to get the property quite a bit in the way of improvement. What I really liked about the location is the fact that it has an amazing water park that is going to make it easier for you to keep your kids entertained for hours on end. What else is great about the Park Vista is the place has an amazing restaurant your kids are going to enjoy eating at.

What else I really liked and a lot of other people have mentioned enjoying about with the Park Vista is the fact it is going to be a location that has bunk beds that are specific for the kids to enjoy and even some amazing game rooms. This is going to make it quite a bit easier for the kids to enjoy quite a few things and then this will make the kids want to come back to the location time and time again. The downside is you will either have to drive or take the trolley into the town itself because it is going to be a long walk to the town.

2. Glenstone Lodge

When you are looking for a great location to take your kids to, you will find that the Glenstone Lodge is a place that will fill your needs. What I really like about the location the most is the fact this has a great pool inside of it. This is going to make it easier for you to have a great time with your kids, but also you will enjoy the fact the pool is indoors and outdoors at the same exact time. What else is great is the fact you are going to have a fantastic place that will make it easier for you to enjoy because of the location and where it is in the town.

At Glenstone Lodge you will notice outside of the pool, it is rather easy for you to find a great on-site restaurant. This is going to provide you with a great chance to get some food for your kids without leaving the hotel if they decide they want to spend the time at the pool. What else is great about this location is the fact it is located about a 14-minute walk from the Aquarium. The aquarium is one of those that you are going to love because my kids love this location and they really enjoy the fact the aquarium has plenty for them to do.

3. Westgate Smoky Mountain Resort

As you can tell by the name this is a resort and it is definitely a great place to go because of that. However, what you are really going to like the location is the fact this is a place that is going to have some amazing rooms for the kids to enjoy. What else is great is the fact this is a location that makes it easier for you to have a water park at your disposal as well. This will make it easier for you to keep your kids entertained for hours and know the kids are not going to miss out on anything when they are trying to stay entertained when they are in the location.

What else is nice for the kids is the fact this is a location that has a great play area for the kids. I know this may not seem like much, but it is a break from the pool and will keep the kids entertained and outside in the mountain air that is going to be good for the lungs. As for the reason, the Westgate did not make it to the top of the list is the fact that it is a car ride from the location to get into town. So that is the reason why the location did not make it any higher.

4. Sidney James Mountain Lodge

Well, I have to include the Sidney James Mountain Lodge on the list because I really like the way it looks and when I checked it out the pool and the hot tub that was on site was very nice. The lodge had a great indoor pool and the little cove type cave area was one that you are going to enjoy immensely. When you do look at the location you will find the pool is very nice for the outside pool as well. So you will notice it is going to be very comfortable for you to have a great place to enjoy as well.

The Sidney James does have some very nice rooms, but I can tell you the rooms are a little bit dated depending on where you are. However, they definitely provide you what you want to have and that is a great bed to lay down your head on. Something that is very nice about the Sidney James is the fact that it is within walking distance to one of the parks in Gatlinburg, which we have reviewed here, the Mynatt Park. What else is nice is the fact this hotel is close to walking distance to a lot of the locations you would want to visit on your trip to Gatlinburg.

5. Brookside Resort

The Brookside Resort is a place that has some of the biggest changes around the town of Gatlinburg since it was on the hit television show Hotel Impossible. The rooms have been impressively cleaned and updated. However, the owners have also taken a lot of the advice on the show and put them into effect to help in getting the hotel to get the best look around. With the hotel, it has really made quite a remarkable turnaround and that is what has helped to land this hotel on the list.

When you are here you will find the location does have a beautiful garden for you to see. However, it also has a great pool to enjoy as well. What else you will like is the fact this place has a great location that is going to help you out in finding some great places to go and enjoy your trip to Gatlinburg.
