What We Liked At The Hungry Bear BBQ

The main thing that we like from the Hungry Bear BBQ is the fact they have picnic packs. The downside is the BBQ never makes it to the mountains for the picnic because it is so good and by the time we get back to the hotel room the smell is driving us nuts! However, once you get the pork picnic pack you will find it is going to fill you up when you eat all of the food. The other thing that you will enjoy is the fact this is a pack that is going to give you two different sides, 2 pounds of pork, and enough buns that you can make the sandwiches that you want to make and not really have to worry about their not being enough for your entire family to eat off of.

What We Did Not Like At The Hungry Bear BBQ

The selection of deserts that are offered at the Hungry Bear BBQ is very limited. Now the brownie that is on the menu is great, but you will find that it can leave you wanting or if you are not in the mood for a brownie you may have to select a different place to go out and eat your desert at. So you need to make sure you consider this because it could make a difference in how well you are going to enjoy your meal and the desert food that you are going to get.

Our Final Take On The Hungry Bear BBQ

This is where we are going to tell you that the place is great and one that we love. Well, it is hard to find nothing not to like when you are eating BBQ. However, this is a restaurant that we really like in Gatlinburg and want to eat at. The downside is if you want to have some desert you will need to find a different place as we found the desert menu to be limited in choices here. Overall, this is a great place and the picnic packs are going to make it easier for you to enjoy your time in the mountains if the food makes it that far.
