Finding the perfect Gatlinburg cabin for a large family that is traveling is a challenge. I know that most of the cabins you are going to see will sleep at most 6 to 8 people. While this works for a lot of families it will not work for every family or group that is traveling. One common question that we are asked quite a bit is we are looking for a cabin that can sleep over 24 people do you know of one. Well, for the longest time we kept finding cabins that were located in Pigeon Forge that would do this and none really close to Gatlinburg. Location Of The Smoky Mountain Lodge

As you can imagine this is another property from Vacation Rentals By Owner so they do not give out the exact address, which does make it difficult to provide you the exact location. However, the generalized location that is given is the location of the cabin is in the Gatlinburg Arts & Crafts Community, which will make it very easy for you to go and do some amazing shopping for locally made craft items. What else is great about this location is it gets you out of the downtown crowds in Gatlinburg that can keep everyone up in the middle of the night, but still are within a close enough distance that you are able to get into town rather quickly and easily.

What Does The Cabin In Gatlinburg Offer

• This is a cabin that offers you plenty of space as it will sleep 36 people spread out between 3 buildings.
• When you are here you will have some of the best views you can imagine of the mountains.
• Located in the arts and crafts community makes it easier for you to enjoy some quiet time, but still easily reach Gatlinburg.
• The location is one that is pet friendly, which is completely different than what some of the places we have reviewed are!
• Depending on the time of year you will find that the owner, if you call them directly, will work with you on getting different buildings rented out to you, but this depends on the price and you must call them!
• Plenty of decks for viewing the mountains is another thing that you will enjoy with this location and definitely something that I know a lot of people are excited about. One of the decks even has a hot tub on it with a specatacular view of the mountains.

How Many People Does This Location Sleep?

This is the best part about this location. IT is one that is going to sleep 36 people total. This does not mean that all the people are going to be in the same building as the location has 3 different buildings, but it will definitely be a location that sleeps plenty of people for you to enjoy.

Is The Cabin Near Downtown Gatlinburg?

While we have mentioned a lot of the cabins that people are looking for sleeping a lot of people, you will notice the second thing that we are getting asked all the time is are their any cabins near downtown Gatlinburg. Well, this cabin is one that is close to downtown and it is definitely going to be close enough that you can enjoy almost anything you would expect to do downtown. The drive to downtown Gatlinburg is only a few minutes, but it is definitely worth the drive.

What I Love About The Location

I have to start out with this, what is their not to love about this location? Well, that is covered in the next section, but I have to say if you are looking for a place that is located in the Gatlinburg arts and crafts community you cannot overlook this place. This is one place that is going to allow you to be in almost the middle of the community. So I really love the location of this cabin and how easy it is to get to the city proper, about a 10-minute drive, but also the fact that it is in a quiet community which means you can rest.

The size of the estate as it is called by some is another great feature you will enjoy here. This is a cabin that used to be a bed and breakfast. Since it is in that style you will notice it allows you to have plenty of space to spread out and enjoy the company that is coming with you to Gatlinburg. At the same time, though, you will have a chance to enjoy each other and not want to pull everyone’s hair out because the location does hvae a couple of different buildings to put everyone in.

One of the best features of this property and easily the one that stands out for me is the amazing view from the property. As you can see from the picture below this view is definitely something that I can sit looking out over the mountains for hours on end. However, this is a view that is one you are going to fall in love with and never want to leave either.

What I Dislike With The Location

The main drawback that we did find with this estate, which was a great location to stay in was the fact that the location only has wireless Internet in the main building. While this may not impact everyone, it can impact some of the families as everyone loves to be connected to each other and I have to say when I am working on my website here, the Facebook page, or even our YouTube channel I have to get the Internet to help out as well and this is definitely something that you need to consider as well because for some families, especially if it is a group of teens going this would definitely not work out that well.

Wow is all that we have to say here about this Gatlinburg cabin. This is one location that has definitely come together and it is easy to see why you are going to love this location. The Smoky Mountain Lodge is great for the larger families and with it able to sleep so many people it will definitely make it easier for you to figure out which one of the places to stay in when you travel to Gatlinburg with your entire family.
