Often when you are looking at Gatlinburg you will notice their are several chain hotels that you recognize the name immediately and the Fairfield Inn & Suites is obviously a name you would not recognize right away, but the by Marriott part is one that you normally will notice. You may be asking yourself what does this have to do with anything because Fairfield Inn is its own business entity, which is true, but what is not true is the fact this has a different standard to live up to. In fact, because this is a by Marriott property you will see they have to honor the same standard that is expected of any Marriott property, even those that carry the name directly. So this means you will be getting to stay in a property that has to hold up to the same standard of excellence you would expect at most locations, but at a lower price. The location is important when you are going on vacation. You often want to know where you are supposed to be going before you get to the location and this is very true when you are trying to locate your hotel and know you will have a check in time to meet. Okay, now the easiest way to find this location will be to come down 441, towards Gatlinburg from Pigeon Forge. The reason for this is the Fairfield Inn & Suites is going to be located on your left before you reach the split where 321 comes into the main part of Gatlinburg as well. If you reach Dudley Creek Road, you have went to far and need to go back. Remember this is a hotel that is located right before the road. If you do find yourself coming down 321, you will need to turn onto Dudley Creek Road and follow it to 441 and turn right. Once you do this, you will see the signs for Fairfield Inn & Suites.

Exterior Features Of The Fairfield Inn & Suites By Marriott North Gatlinburg
Pulling into this location, you are going to find that it is going to have some of the best places that you will want. The location is going to be putting you almost against the woods, which means you will have the quiet that you want to have. However, you are also going to be able to get the nice features that you want to have of being able to see quite a bit of the mountains, without having to be in the middle of town. As far as when you are at the location, the main exterior features you will notice is that this is a location that is going to have free parking for you to use and it will have a trolley stop that will pick you up in the parking lot.
Something else that you are going to enjoy about the outdoors is the fact the location offers you an outside pool to use. You may have never thought about this before, but you need to realize the outdoor pool is going to have a great feature for you to use and that is the water slide and the fountain type of thing in the middle of the pool. I am not sure what the name of the thing in the middle is, but it will have water going down it and free falling back into the pool for you to enjoy. It is important to note that if you are using the water slide you need to use the proper caution and read the signs to make sure you are not violating any rules or behaving in a manner that is unsafe.
Balconies are a great feature at a hotel and this is a location that does have small balconies for everyone to enjoy. The balconies are not enormous, but they are going to be able to let you sit outside and enjoy the weather. Something else you will enjoy is the fact these are going to be covered by the floor above and a little canopy that is meant to help keep rain from blowing in on you.

When you are looking at a hotel, you need to realize their are some locations that will have rain and this can keep you from doing anything outdoors and that is very disappointing when you are in a beautiful location like Gatlinburg. Since this can happen you need to know about some of the things that you can do at the hotel or know about the amenities that are offered at the hotel. With that being the case, here are some of the amenities that are offered at the Fairfield Inn & Suites Gatlinburg North.
- Breakfast is often seen as one of the most important meals that you can have. This is very true if you are planning on going out into the mountains during the day. Since this is the case, you need to make sure you know about the great breakfast bar that is present here. Once you know about this breakfast bar, you will be able to eat here if you want and enjoy breakfast or be able to go out and enjoy the breakfasts that are at the restaurants.
- Indoor and outdoor pools are something else you are going to enjoy with this location. You may have never thought about this before, but when you are at this location you will find that they have a pool in both locations. So you can easily be able to enjoy the pool if the weather is not nice outside or if the air is a littler too cool to be outside in the swimming pool.
- Depending on where you are at in the hotel, you may find the location offers adjoining rooms so you can travel with your kids and have them stay in their own room. It is important to note that if you do this, to make sure the kids door is locked at all times to make sure they do not get out of the room on you while you are sleeping.

Room Features At The Fairfield Inn & Suites Gatlinburg
When you are staying in a location the best thing is to make sure you know about the features that are in the room. The problem is it can be hard to read about the features because you can be confused. I know that I was looking at the pictures for this location and notice some of the rooms have the a Jacuzzi style tub, which is something I never thought this location would have. Since this is the case, I decided to share some of the features that I have found with the rooms.
As I already mentioned some of the rooms, ones I would assume are the suites, are coming with only a single bed and going to have a Jacuzzi style of tub in the room. So this is something that you will be able to enjoy quite a bit and know that it is going to provide you with a great place to go and be able to enjoy your trip. However, the tub also will make it easier for you to relax and know that the mountains are not as hard on your body like you thought it would be.
Bathrooms that are in the rooms are actually quite nice and have been reported to be some of the cleanest ones that you can find in a hotel. So this is going to make it a lot easier for you to be able to enjoy your trip and know that you are not going to be having a bad time during your trip.
Eating out is a given when you are traveling to a place like Gatlinburg. When you have to eat out all the time you will often end up getting stuck with a ton of left overs. When you are staying in some locations you will notice the location is not going to have a refrigerator. Thankfully, this is not the case when you are staying at the Fairfield Inn & Suites as it is going to make it easier for you to keep the food that you have left over fresh and ready as you have a refrigerator in your room.
