Discover The Alamo Steakhouse And Saloon In Gatlinburg

Alamo Steakhouse And Saloon Gatlinburg ReviewedThe Alamo is definitely not going to be your last stand, unless you order the largest steak on the menu and then you could end up in a standoff with the steak. Instead, the Alamo Steakhouse and Saloon is a place that is going to make it easier for you to enjoy your meal and know that you are getting off of the main drag of Gatlinburg, but also getting a chance to enjoy some great food. That brings up the downside and that is the fact that you may have to drive to the location because it is a little bit out of town, but close enough that the drive is not that annoying, unless you have just spent the entire day going over the top of the mountain to reach into Cherokee or have spent the day in Pigeon Forge. Here is our review of the Alamo Steakhouse and Saloon.

What Is Our Favorite Food From Alamo

The favorite food that we have found at the Alamo is none other than one that is simply called The Steak. The steak is a 20 ounce ribeye steak. In addition to getting a a perfectly flavored steak from Alamo, you get quite a bit of meat. The meals do come with with a dinner salad, which in my experience is wonderfully tasting and a side dish. When we are eating here we love the loaded baked potato to go along with our steak. The only downside is when combined with the steak and the potato with the salad you will need a doggie bag in most cases, but thankfully you can read our Gatlinburg hotels page and find a hotel that has a refrigerator and microwave to stay in.

What We Did Not Like At The Alamo

The main dishes that we did not really care for at the Alamo was the chicken dishes. Yes, they are great looking and taste good, they are not the dish we would want to have when we are eating at a steakhouse. So this is definitely not something that we order when we go to the Alamo we want a steak. They do have great pork chops as well, but the chicken dishes at a steakhouse just do not do it for us. So it is not because of bad quality or anything else, it is just that we simply want to have some great tasting steak.

Our Final Thoughts

The Alamo Steakhouse and Saloon definitely lives up to its name. It is a great steakhouse that can provide you with a filling meal, but also makes it easier for you to get the food style that you want to have. While we do not really care for chicken dishes when we are going to a steakhouse even those are great and are definitely a needed option for some people. Even the atmosphere at the steakhouse is among some of the best and tends to be a little bit more on the laid back side, but the lighting inside of the location is great unlike some places I have eaten at before where it is a challenge to find your plate. Our final thoughts are going to fall along the lines of if you are looking for a great Gatlinburg steakhouse to eat, then make sure you stop at the Alamo. If you want to save yourself some money, check out the hotel you are staying in for Alamo Steakhouse coupons.
