Location is very key when you are looking at the River Terrace. This is a place that is on River Road and it is going to be a great place for you to stay because of the ease of reaching town. However, the closeness to the region also makes it a lot easier for you to find the location and since it is on River Road it allows you to avoid traffic. The River Terrace Resort & Convention Center also is a location that has been picked by Booking as one of the best hotels in Gatlinburg to book. If you are coming to Gatlinburg with your kids, you need to remember this is a location with an excellent seasonal outdoor pool for you to use. Depending on what time you get back to the River Terrace Resort & Convention Center you will find the location does have an on site restaurant with some great food and a wonderful beer selection available.

Some of the drawbacks that people have reported are going to vary from the walk up the hill to their room, but also the lack of available parking. Now this is to be expected of anywhere in Gatlinburg, but especially at a location like this one since it has 205 rooms that are available for visitors to check into. Something else that was commonly complained about was the age of the location and how a lot of the location needs to be updated.

To reach this location it is actually very easy to do. All that you need to do is turn right onto River Road, which is by the aquarium. Once you turn onto River Road, you will notice the location is going to be on the right hand side of the road almost as soon as you turn onto the road.
