What Does This Shop Offer

• This is a location that is family owned and it actually one of the oldest family-owned shops you can find. The shop was actually founded in the later part of the 1800’s and this is going to be really amazing as it has been in the same family ever since and that is very unusual for the region and shops in general.
• When you are at this location you will notice it is going to have a lot of different woodcrafts for you to buy. However, I will tell you that compared to some of the shops that we have went to before this is very reasonable in the price and this makes it easier for you to get the woodcrafts that are handmade and know that you are getting these at an affordable price.
• Quality of the products is something else you will enjoy when you are shopping here. While you may think that this is going to be just another shop that sells handmade pieces, you need to realize the owners take great pride in providing you with the best quality items they can and this makes it easier for you to get the right product that will last you for a long period of time.

Is Everything Handmade?

Yes, I have to say from this location that everything that I have seen here is handmade. So this will definitely provide you with plenty of chances to see something that is very attractive and high quality, but also properly made. This will make it quite a bit easier for you to get the products that are going to last a lifetime. In fact, some people have commented on some of the reviews we have read that they have some products that are at a minimum of 10 years old and they brag that it still looks like it is brand new and since it is a windmill type of product they even talk about how it is fully functional.

Will Kids Enjoy The Location? 

Well, this is another shop that is going to be specific to the wood crafts and I have to say most kids would unfortunately find these boring. Not because the location does not have any of the great products that you are going to find boring, but I know my own kids if they are in a store, even if it is a unique location, they tend to get bored with. So I can tell you that the kids could end up finding this as being boring because of the fact they cannot go out and race a go cart, go down a mountain coaster, or even go and explore the mountains. As a parent, though, you can find this location to be rather easy to go through and this could easily convince your kids to behave so you can shop faster and find what you want to get.

What Do I Like About Ownby’s

I love the location and the drive to the shop. While I usually want to do most of my shopping in town, I found this place to be one of the best drives you can take and easily one of the best places for you to go and check out. This has definitely added to the real uniqueness of the location and definitely has made this one place that I think everyone should make it a point to go to because the unique area alone will be worth the trip our, but seeing a beautiful area is definitely going to make it even better.

The products that are available is another thing that I like from here. While you may think that this is not going to be that big of a deal, you need to realize when you are looking at the crafts they are all high quality and definitely have a wide enough selection that you can enjoy. So this is definitely going to be something that you will like because this makes it a lot easier for you to find the products you need and know they will last you for a longer period of time.

What Do I Dislike

I have to say that the one thing I do dislike from here is it is hard to get out of here without buying at least one item, typically you will leave with more than one. So you need to make sure you have your wallet with you or if you do not want to spend any money leave it behind! However, I will say that if you do leave it behind you are sure to be disappointed because you cannot buy anything without any money!

Who Will Like This Location The Most

I have to say that anyone who loves wood working and wants to get a high-quality handmade item will want to look at Ownby’s. That is because you will be able to find the best quality products here and know they are going to last you for a long time, but what is even better is the products are handmade and going to look great when you own them.

My Final Thoughts On Ownby’s Woodcrafts

I have to say this is one shop that does standout in Gatlinburg. Some of that comes from the fact this is a location that has been in the same family for so long. However, other times the quality of the products and the handcrafting of the items willmake this place stand out. No matter what, Ownby’s Woodcrafts is a location you should put on your list of places to check out when you decide to travel to Gatlinburg.
