Discover Mountain Shadows Log Home Resort

Mountain Shadows Log Home ResortStaying in a log home resort is very exciting, but for some reason it is also a challenge as well because of all that you can do and the limits that are present on what you can do. Something else that can be a problem is the fact that you have to drive to almost everything that you want to do or catch the trolley. Overall, though, the Mountain Shadows Log Home Resort is one of those locations that you would really like because it is going to be easy for you to see if this is going to be the place you want to take your vacation at or not. I know that for me, I prefer the hotels at times, but other times I just want to have the quietness of the other locations, like this one. Either way here is some of the information that will make it easier for you to make an educated choice on if this place is right for you or not.

Pros Of Mountain Shadows Log Home Resort

When you are staying here, you will find that it fell into the hotels section of our blog, but it is actually individual cabins that are going to make it easier for you to get some of the privacy that you want to have. However, this location still has some of the amenities that people are going to really love because it is going to be a great way for them to enjoy their vacation. For families the location offers a seasonal pool and an on site playground that will allow your kids to play for hours on end. However, since these are individual cabins, you are going to like the fact that it is going to have a kitchen in each cabin, private bathrooms, a spa tub, and quite a bit more. If you do not feel like using the kitchen or going out, though, you may want to select the different grilling area with picnic area that is available around the grounds for you to use.

Cons Of The Mountain Shadows Log Home Resort

A drawback that I have found to this location, is the fact that it requires you to drive almost five miles to the aquarium. While this is not always a drawback, if you do not want to pay for the parking cost in Gatlinburg then you will want to consider a hotel in town. I know that it can be pricey to do that and you will have more of a crowd, but you do not have to be concerned about paying the cost for the parking or even be worried about trying to find the best place to park at and worry about how much parking will cost you by the end of the day.

Location Of The Mountain Shadows Log Home Resort

The address and directions to the location are as follows.

1901 E. Parkway

Gatlinburg, TN, 37738

To reach this location you are going to want to turn left onto 321, where it comes into town. When you do this, you will stay on 321 for roughly 4 to almost 5 miles and the location will be up the hill on the left hand side. So as you can tell we told you it is located out of town, but the drive is beautiful, just not the fight for a parking space in the middle of town.
