Bearfoot Memories – Gatlinburg Cabin

We have talked about a lot of the different cabins that are available for you to visit stay in when you travel to Gatlinburg. However, we have found that not all of the cabins are available to be booked with places like Vacation Rentals by Owner, Hotels, or other booking sites. Since that is the case it does make these places a little bit more of the hidden gems that you are going to really enjoy. We actually found this cabin, Bearfoot Memories, here through the owner on our Facebook page, which we recommend you to go and like! We have talked with the owner and decided we would do our review of the cabins she has to offer and that is exactly what you are going to get here. With that being the case, we are going to start our review of the Bearfoot Memories cabin here in Gatlinburg.

What Does The Cabin Offer

• This is a cabin that will have some great entertainment value for you to enjoy from the game room and area that we mentioned above. However, if you are looking for several different aspects of the cabin as well you will like the fact this cabin has satellite television for you to enjoy and if you are into the movie streaming content you will find it has Netflix as well so this is a great option for you to enjoy if the weather is not cooperating with your vacation plans.
• When you are trying to get your muscles to relax and unwind you will like the fact this is a cabin that has a hot tub on the outside on the deck that is going to look over the mountains. However, if you want to have even more privacy and enjoy the relaxation that you can have with a soaking water you will like the jacuzzi tub that is here.
• With this being in a resort, a gated resort I should mention, it is going to have a beautiful pool area that you can enjoy. What is really great is the pool area has two different pools which are going to be a heated pool that indoors and an outdoors pool. This is something that will allow you to get some of the same feel that you would get if you were staying in a hotel. However, this will make it easier for you to enjoy the area even more because swimming is a great way to relax and let your muscles stretch out even more than what you would get even with a hot tub.
• The kitchen in the cabin is definitely a place you are going to like as well as this allows you to cook the food you want to eat. However, you will also find that cooking in the cabin means you have a chance to save quite a bit of money on having to dine out each night.

What I Like About The Cabin

The Resort Has A Pool

Now, this is something that I really like because it makes it easier for my kids to burn off energy in conjunction with the game room as well. That is they have a chance to go swimming and I will tell you this is a great way to relax and get your muscles stretched back out after getting the hiking and time down in the mountains. So this is definitely something that I like and so do my kids as well.

Lofted Game Room Area

When you travel with your kids, they are going to really like this aspect of the cabin as it allows you to have a great area for your kids to go up to. The lofted game room area is one that the kids will like because it makes it easier for them to burn off some energy and the kids have plenty of things for them to pick from when it comes to the different games they are going to play from air hockey to arcade style games that you may have grown up with when you are a kid.

Great Views From The Deck

When you are staying at this cabin you will find that even with some of the cabins being a little bit closer than what you would expect the views are great. What else is nice is the deck that you can have that wraps around the location as well. This deck makes it easier for you to enjoy the views and know that you will have quite a bit of comfort that you normally would not have been able to find in some of the other cabins. What is really nice about this location is the hot tub is located on the deck and hidden from the majority of the view because of the way the fence is.

What I Dislike With The Cabin

The Cabins Are Close Together

I have to say that when I am in the mountains I want to have quite a bit of quiet. When I was looking at the pictures here, I did see that the cabins seem to be fairly close together. This can be an issue at times if the cabin next to you is really loud, but you will find that it is not often that this happens. With that being the case, I would rather have a little bit more space in between the cabins, but I can definitely understand to keep the maximum amount of beauty in the area you need to make the most of the space.

My Final Thoughts On Bearfoot Memories

This is a cabin that is located in the middle of the Bear Creek Crossing Resort. This is going to be a great feature because it is going to help you out in getting to have a lot of extra amenities that are not always available in some of the cabins you would be staying in. Since this is the case, you will want to make sure you check out this cabin when you are in Gatlinburg or you are making your travel to Gatlinburg plans. Overall, I have to say if you are able to stay in this cabin with the number of people in your group Bearfoot Memories is a great place to check out and stay in.
