Okay, now I am not sure if you are looking for a great place to stay or one that is just going to provide you with the basic needs that you need when you are traveling. However, what you need to realize is no matter what the River Edge Motor Lodge is one of those locations that is going to be in between. This is a great location that is close to the middle of town, but it is also a location that will allow you to have the access that you will want to the middle of downtown Gatlinburg, but also the access that you will want to have to the mountains. Not only that if you decide you do not want to go to the Pancake Pantry or any of the other great restaurants for breakfast you will find that you are going to have a free continental breakfast that you can easily go down to the lobby to enjoy. Just remember, this is a location that is not on the main strip, but close enough you can easily walk into town.

To reach this location you will want to turn right onto River Road when you are in front of the aquarium. When you go down River Road, you will notice the location is going to be on the left hand side of the road, but it will be in the middle of a curve so make sure you are watching out for it as it can sneak up on you at times.
